Il Parco Naturalistico delle Biancane (il nome Biancane deriva dal colore bianco delle rocce) è un’area straordinaria in cui la geotermia ha caratterizzato in modo determinante tutto il paesaggio. I suggestivi colori che ha assunto il terreno e la flora, uniti al costante vapore acqueo che esce dalle rocce, dà l’impressione di trovarsi su un altro pianeta.
The Biancane Naturalistic Park (the name Biancane derives from the white color of the rocks) is an extraordinary area in which geothermal energy has characterized the whole landscape in a decisive way.
The evocative colors that the soil and the flora have assumed, together with the constant water vapor coming out of the rocks, give the impression of being on another planet.
